Beatles Large Dipping Dish

What a unique and beautiful hand-made dish by artist Lorraine Oerth!

 

Made from ceramics with a cool picture of The Beatles, imprinted with unusual and pretty designs on both sides, and painted in glossy cream, this Large Beatles Dipping Dish can be used for storing keys, change, sweets, or any other small keepsake! Dipping dishes are safe to use for food, as well! The Beatles image is fired into the glaze as an overglaze enamel pigment, making it permanent.

 

Artist Lorraine Oerth is constantly drawing, painting, collaging and designing. She developed a method of transferring her drawings and designs into iron oxide that is fired onto the glazes. The result: a dark brown , permanent picture that is part of the glaze surface.
